Danelle Harmon News:Dear Reader,As many of you know, it's been a long time since this site has been updated, and for that, I profusely apologize. I had just finished Lucien's book and was considering what to write next, when a series of devastating losses -- beginning with the death of my father in April, 2001 -- impacted my life, and subsequently, my writing. Unfortunately, I just haven't regained the incentive to write, but as they say, time is the great healer... perhaps I just need to be patient. Thank you to all of you who have inquired about my whereabouts, well-being, and the possibility of further books. Along the subject of the latter, many of you have also expressed a strong interest in seeing Lady Nerissa de Montforte get her own story. I had a lot of fun working with all five de Montforte siblings (and I will now confess: Lord Charles is my favorite of the lot!), but at this time I have no plans to give Nerissa her own book. However, I'm toying with the idea of writing the story of Lucien's friend, "Fox," and if that book ever comes to pass, the de Montfortes will surely be revisited. I do have some other ideas in the works, but again, I just haven't been ready, and able, to sit down and commit myself to writing a 400-page manuscript. In the meantime, I'm enjoying my husband, our now 3-year-old daughter, and the newest addition to our family, Masada Ben Azi. "Ben," as he's affectionately called, is a purebred straight Egyptian Arabian horse, and he's turned into a wonderful friend. The Bedouins sure did know what they were doing when they created these wonderful desert-creatures with such loyal, people-loving, "live-in-your-tent" personalities! But, just as I gained a wonderful friend in Ben, I lost one in our beloved German Shorthaired Pointer dog, "Roscoe," who succumbed last August to the infirmities of old age. He is, and will continue to be, sadly missed. He was a great friend to me and the hole in my heart caused by his loss continues to be a painful one... as anyone who has ever known and loved an animal can attest. Again, I thank you all for your interest in my books, as well as your eager anticipation of more to come. Bear with me... and do keep an eye on this website. When and if "the Muse" returns, you'll be the first to know. All the best, -- Danelle Harmon Hero Vote:Lord Gareth de Montforte (The Wild One) is in the lead, followed by his brother Lucien (The Wicked One) in second place. Favorite heroine is Juliet Paige de Montforte (The Wild One), followed by Eva de la Mouriere (The Wicked One).Don't forget to vote for your favorite hero and heroine!
